Infantry Robot

The Infantry-class robot is the foundational robot for both the 1v1 and 3v3 competition categories. It features a 4-wheel X-Drive drive allowing it to move at maximum speed in any direction while firing 17mm pellets up to speeds of 90 km/h.

  • Drive: Compact X-drive wheel pod design
  • Armament: Modular turret with articulated gooseneck
  • Supercapacitor Bank: Provides bursts of energy to chassis when needed

Ranked #3 in 1v1 Arc Championship 2026
Ranked #8 in 3v3 Arc Championship 2026

Hero Robot

The Hero bot is the team’s heavy hitter. This robot is the largest on the battlefield and fires 42mm golf balls, screw-fed from our magazine. Despite its large size, its mechanum-driven system allows it to remain agile on the field.

  • Ball Path: Gooseneck to prevent jams at all firing angles
  • Indexor: Robust centre-fed corkscrew design
  • Turret: Barrel geometry that centers balls in flywheel assembly

Ranked #8 in 3v3 Arc Championship 2026

Engineer Robot

The Engineer is a specialized support unit that manipulates field elements to secure strategic resources and provide buffs to our team. To do so, it uses a custom multi-axis robotic arm and controller to coordinate its actuators.

  • Mechanism: 6-DOF serial-link robot arm
  • Drive: Omni-directional Mecanum drive
  • Grip: Pneumatic end-effector

Ranked #2 in Engineering Challenge (Arc Championship 2026)

Sentry Robot

Unlike the other robots, the Sentry is completely autonomous. It integrates LiDAR and computer vision to perceive its environment, fire on targets, and autonomously navigate the battlefield.

  • Navigation: Using NAV2 and the Manifold Tech Odin 1 LIDAR
  • Targeting: Uses PnP and EKF to track and predictively aim at armour plates

Ranked #8 in 3v3 Arc Championship 2026

Aerial Robot

The Drone is a large quadcopter that flies above the battlefield, supporting the team through aerial reconnaissance and suppressive fire. Our drone’s lightweight carbon-fibre frame offers extended flight times while protecting the rotors from projectiles and impacts.

  • Airframe: X-quadcopter motor layout
  • Range: 10km estimated, 15 min flight time
  • Weight: 8 kg chassis weight, 16 kg maximum takeoff weight

Ranked #1 in Drone Competition (Purdue Side Competition 2026)

Dart System

The Dart System launches high-velocity darts to strike enemy structures, delivering significant damage and temporarily disabling enemy bots. The launcher can rotate horizontally for aiming and adjust launch power with flywheel speed.

  • Turret: Quad-flywheel launcher spinning up to 9000 RPM
  • Indexor: 3-DOF arms, featuring a revolver, 4-bar linkage, and claws
  • Function: Autonomously launches 4 custom darts within 30s
